![]() Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream is a facial cream that is specifically targeted towards sun spots, melasma, pigmentation etc. My only negative is that it comes in a tub. Overall I am really happy with this moisturiser and would definitely add it to my list of products to buy. Similarly, recent studies show that although the product has been found to safe to use, care should be taken if used for long periods, as accumulation can occur. Some experts suggest that, apart from its lubricant properties, Cyclopentasiloxane may have the capacity to treat skin lines or blemishes. ![]() It does contain cyclopentasiloxane (the second ingredient listed), which is a silicone. It worked well with my Olay Miracle Boost Youth Pre-essence and my usual makeup. The time frame Olay gives is eight weeks. It does feel like my skin tone and appearance has evened out a little and that is with only two weeks usage. My breakouts have been minimal except for the one I can feel coming on my chin but I think that one is due to hormones. I managed to get about two weeks usage out of this trial size applying morning and night. I must admit that the first few uses it did feel a bit “powdery“ but I persevered and am happy that I did so. It absorbs pretty quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and moist. It is a thick texture and I applied by lightly dabbing some small blobs around my face before smoothing it in. The cream is a light peach colour and smells faintly floral. It comes in a clear acrylic tub (it has an inner opaque tub). I received this 14g trial size of Olay Luminous Tone Perfecting cream from a Priceline goody bag.
